Yesterday I got pissed off for as I was writing a new ,literally satisactory, post my internet provider failed me...Deleting all the progress I had made with my post...Nevermind,maybe this will be an attempt to write something better...
Yesterday I had started writing a post about "universability" or to put it better the overwelming globalization, borders as a term of national inheritence and uprooting as a "legitiment" crime.Having heard the rhcp's album "Mother's Milk" close to a hundred times it can strike as a surprise to the first-time-listener the density of meanings ,concerning the aforementioned values, the track "Johny, kick a hole in the sky" conveys. Antony Kiedis has extraordinarely managed to probe into a yet unsolved and tormenting issue:UPROOTING-the brutal manipulation of every human right deprived populations are equiped with. Mr. Kiedis triggered by his claims to be a direct decendant of the native americans (indians) expresses the lust for revenge, the anger, the loath and the modern passive way of thinking. No initiatives,no revolutionary mental ideas just the witnessing of the birth of a brave new american generation of coach potatoes.
"I am a part of two worlds,I'm a master of adaption and I've got to take action...I'm a man...The animal man!!" .If those lyrics do not mirror the suffocated feelings of underprivilleged or uprooted civilizations then what does.
For once more I will end up praising the band called the "Red Hot Chili Peppers" and say that fortunately there is still today "armed "music.Music that does not focus on commercialization and marketing.Music that has quality ideas.Music that caresses the problems of today and walks towards tommorow's vissisitudes.Music...Music...Music...
Finally, there is a point of worry in this infinite chain of events:if wars continue to happen, peoples' heatred will continue to rise and so wars will continue to happen. All I have to say is:
"The story of a woman on the morning of a war
remind me if you will exactly what ew're fighting for
Calling calling for something in the air
Calling calling I know you must be there
I don't want to be your little research monkey boy
The creature that I am is only going to destroy
Throw me to the wolves because there's order in the pack
Throw me to the sky because I know I'm coming back..."
Once again the "universability" of the peppers CAN and HAS given the answer.
As Flea has repeatedly said:"It's all about love and peace in the end".

To The Band!!!

Today not having much to do because of me catching a flue ,I got the opportunity to take another look of the peppers' live DVD "Off The Map" which was recorded on the last concert of their all-conquering Californication world tour. The DVD includes the live performance of "Untitled No3" from the acoustic masterpiece of John Frusciante "Niadra LaDes & Usually Just a T-Shirt".This song made me think of other two diamonds of Mr.Frusciante :"Time Tonight" and "Past Recedes" from the album "Curtains"...The songs bare strong similarities that mostly focus on the goal of the artist to touch his audience's deep feeling by expressing his own melancholy and nostalgy of events(piece of cake when it comes to Mr.Frusciante...).I do not believe in miracles but how could I not doubt for their existence when i hear Mr. Frusciante's music...Anyway,knowing that if I continue to write I will end up saying that this man's music means everything to me I stop here with just an urge from me to you to hear and see the aforementioned compositions.Oh!!!I'm so so sorry...I forgot:YOUR PUSSY'S GLUED TO A BUILDING ON FIRE!!!

PS1:Many people do not know that Niadra LaDes is a female character that Mr. Frusciante played in the as-yet-unreleased film "Desert In The Shape" directed by his then-girlfriend Toni Oswald
PS2:Thank you Mr. Frusciante for the inspiration...

Yesterday I had my second guitar lesson and I am very happy to report that me and my teacher continue to get along and jam endlessly while learning the spanish flamenco music! It is the fifth year in a row that I'm taking classic guitar lessons and I must confess that it is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling experiences I have ever lived.Though I have never taken electric guitar lessons my skills are of an advanced level in that area too, where I am mostly concentrated in reaching a satisfactory stage in my jazz, blues and FUNK addictions. In my opinion my favourite musics FUNK and FLAMENCO are very closely related with each other.Regardless of the whole culture that encircles them both, these musics are empowered with a high sense of originality and creativity, both of them follow the same musical paths(difficult to be understood by the amateur ear) and share the same passion for the unstopablly heartbreaking rythm whose complexity may confuse even the most experienced ear!!!

I have always thought that "blood sugar sex magik" composes if not the lime stone an integral part of what we today characterise as funk rock. Thus we must thank Mr. John Frusciante for the creativity and inspiration that led him through the limelight of his musical adventure.Hving written the 70% of the album Mr. Frusciante has showed once again his limitless talent.Furthermore I support the idea of the existence of a dispute of which the peppers' best album is.To this doubtful question I must answer that thanks to the track "californication" the album "californication" can objectively be characterized as their masterpiece...Although, personally I believe that "blood, sugar, sex, magik" is the band's adamand-siezeld diamond for its pioneering style and ofcourse for Mr. John Frusciante

Let's start this attempt to make widely known this site by publishing the dates for the 2006 european tour of the peppers. There are some shows that you can still yet attend...Ofcourse if you have money and the will to experience the "jfakmb&cs"(understandable only by the true fans of the group) experience. So,to cut a long story short here's the link to PARADISE!!!
