a little tribute to jimi hendrix

this is a dialogue taken from the song "third stone from the sun" on the R U EXPERIENCED album... a pretty jazz song in my humble opinion!!! Chas Chandler was Jim's manager during that period... the dialogue takes place in the veil of a psychedelically stoned realm of weed consumption or something and it's like being on board of star trek... that was the intention of the two men after all...

# Hendrix : Star fleet to scout ship, please give your position. Over.
# Chandler : I am in orbit around the third planet of star known as sun. Over.
# Hendrix : May this be Earth? Over.
# Chandler : Positive. It is known to have some form of intelligent species. Over.
# Hendrix : I think we should take a look
